With the release of the Apple iPhone in June, manufacturers are already starting to develop iPhone accessories. Apple has already announced they will create a Bluetooth headset specifically designed for the iPhone. Third party manufacturers will focus on iPhone cases, headsets, car chargers and iPhone screen protectors. Due to the large size of the LCD screen, it will be imperative for owners to protect their investment. Cingular has yet to announce if they will provide insurance for the iPhone, so investing in an iPhone accessory may very well be the only way to protect your $600 smartphone.
